Engineering Futures: ITC & University of Toulon Students Explore Innovation at Calypso Motors

On Thursday, 13 November 2025, Calypso Motors proudly welcomed 30 Cambodian and French engineering students from the Institute of Technology of Cambodia (ITC) and the University of Toulon (France) during their academic discovery trip to Cambodia.

The visit provided students with a unique opportunity to explore our factory, learn about our mission, and engage directly with our design, R&D, and production teams.

Discovering How Calypso Motors Builds Smart, Innovative Motorcycles

Throughout the tour, students were guided through the complete development journey of a Calypso motorcycle from concept design to final assembly.
They observed how our Cambodian and international engineers collaborate on:

  • Concept design and product development
  • Vehicle assembly and quality inspection
  • Research and development activities
  • Integration of smart technology and safety features

Walking inside our R&D labs, production lines, and testing areas, students witnessed how local expertise plays a central role in designing, assembling, and improving Calypso vehicles right here in Cambodia.

Students from ITC and Université de Toulon gathered inside the Calypso design room, listening to the Calypso designer explain the motorcycle design process. Calypso, ITC, and Toulon logos are visible in the image.
